Both West and Tekashi 6ix9ine were reportedly at a rented $80 million mansion on an exclusive street in Beverly Hills where Nicki Minaj was expected to shoot her part in the video later. Police responded to a call at the location around 10:25 p.m. Thursday, and a witness told TMZ that someone had fired about eight shots. Everyone escaped without injury, and production of the video was shut down.

The website showed a photo of the room damaged by the shots, which was reportedly supposed to be Minaj’s dressing room once she arrived on the set.

About an hour before the shooting, his wife, Kim Kardashian, said that they were among the thousands of Southern California homeowners evacuated because of the wildfires burning there. She noted that she’d arrived back at their Calabasas, Calif., home from a trip on Thursday night and quickly packed up the family’s belongings.
