Ye's legal team filed a request on September 16 for Reconsideration after Final Action, after U.S. Patent & Trademark Officials refused registration on the mark earlier this year.

Back in January, officials told the hip-hop star that the trademark filing for Yandhi needed to be fixed, specifically when it came to the goods and services listed in the application.

The documents state that the items listed appeared "indefinite" and needed to be "clarified."

They felt Kanye was being too vague on the description of Yandhi, which claimed that it would be used for "distribution of musical and audio and video programs."

Kanye's legal team tried to fix the filing in March, but in April officials still deemed it, "not acceptable," and explained that they were issuing a "Final Action" that would abandon the mark within 6 months, if not properly amended.

The filing sat dormant up until recently, when Kanye made the move to resurrect Yandhi.

After the fixed filings, USPTO officials acknowledged the changes and pushed the application through to the final step before publication.

On September 17, 2018, West announced his ninth studio album, "Yandhi," just three months after the release of his previous album, "Ye."

After multiple leaks and criticism, Kanye eventually announced that "Yandhi" was not completed, and that he would, "announce the release date once it's done."

In August, "Jesus Is King" was announced to be releasing on September 27, and even a track list was revealed.

On August 29, 2019, West's wife Kim Kardashian announced "Jesus Is King" with a released date of September 27, 2019.

It's now being reported that the album won't be coming out, but no official explanation has been given by Kanye on the situation.

We'll have to wait and see if "Yandhi" rises on Friday in place of "Jesus Is King."
