Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce reveals he tried to give Taylor Swift his phone number, but didn’t score

Who knew Travis Kelce had a thing for Taylor Swift? The two-time Super Bowl champion revealed tried to shoot his shot with the pop music superstar but apparently it wasn’t a touchdown.

On a new episode of his “New Heights” podcast, Kelce revealed that he tried to talk to Swift during a recent stop on her Eras Tour but was told she was on vocal rest outside of her performance.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” said the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

The 33-year-old told his brother and co-host, Jason Kelce, that he wasn’t able to give the “Shake It Off” singer, also 33, one of the personal friendship bracelets he had for her — and he was “a little butthurt” about it.

“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets,” he said. “I received a bunch of them there being there but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.”

Jason, a Philadelphia Eagles center, playfully asked whether he meant his football jersey number, 87, or his phone number.

“You know which one,” Travis replied. “She doesn’t meet anyone, or at least she didn’t wanna meet me, so I took it personal.”

Jason then took the moment to rub in that Swift prefers his team over his brother’s.

“She probably just hasn’t gotten over the Super Bowl, she’s a big Eagles fan. Maybe she just made something up and didn’t want to talk to you,” he teased.

Since his split with ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole in 2022, Travis has been spotted with another chart-topping music superstar: Meghan Thee Stallion. He’s also been romantically linked to “Access Hollywood” correspondent Zuri Hall, but nothing has been confirmed.

Meanwhile, in was revealed in April that Swift had broken up with Joe Alwyn, her boyfriend of 6 years. She then briefly dated The 1975 frontman Matt Healy, before that relationship ended after roughly a month.
