Prabhas is among the highest-paid actors in the country. Following his portrayal of Baahubali in SS Rajamouli’s movies, the actor was named a pan-India star. Since then, his remuneration has increased to manifolds. The actor allegedly charges millions for a film and signs movies with a hefty budget. As he only has a cameo in Vishnu Manchu’s most awaited film, Kannappa, fans are eager to know his salary.

Talking about Prabhas’ salaries, the actor allegedly received about $12 million for his last outing, Salaar. Therefore, his fans will be shocked to hear the numbers he has demanded for his cameo in Kannappa.

How much did Prabhas charge for a cameo in Kannappa?

According to TrackTollywood, reports about Prabhas’ salary for Kannappa are swirling around in the film circles. Allegedly, the actor has not charged a single penny for his mythological role in the movie. The report further claimed that the actor greatly admires the movie’s producer, Mohan Babu. He even opened up his tight schedule to film the cameo only for Babu.

Prabhas is touted as playing Nandeeswarudu’s role in Kannappa. Allegedly, the actor was earlier roped in to portray Lord Shiva in the movie, while Nayanthara was expected to play Goddess Parvathi. However, the actor did not want to repeat the similar character he is playing in his upcoming film Kalki 2898 AD. Therefore, his team reportedly asked for the actor to play Nandeeswarudu. Moreover, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is portraying Lord Shiva. The upcoming movie also has a crucial role by Mohanlal.

Prabhas received a warm welcome from the Kannappa team on the sets. Vishnu Manchu announced that he would join the sets with a new poster. The Baahubali star has now allegedly wrapped up his part.

For the unversed, Kannappa’s teaser trailer will be released at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival on May 20, 2024.
