Kane Brown's Daughter Kingsley 'Protects' His Wife When Sister Plays Rough: 'There's a Baby in Mommy's Belly'

The country singer is expecting his third baby with wife Katelyn

Kane Brown's daughters are excited to welcome their newest sibling.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the 2024 ACM Awards, the country singer, 30, shared that although his older daughter Kingsley Rose, 4, is excited to have a new baby brother, his younger daughter Kodi Jane, 2, doesn't quite understand the situation.

"Kodi can't really explain how she feels because she's two," Brown told the outlet. "But Kingsley is, like, so excited. [She] protects Kate at all times when Kodi tries to get rough with her, she's like, 'There's a baby in Mommy's belly, stop.' "

Although the family is excited to welcome their newest addition, the "I Can Feel It" singer confirmed that he and his wife Katelyn are done growing their family with baby No. 3.

"Oh yeah, we're done," he shared. "We were surprised with the third one."

In March, Brown appeared on The Bobby Bones Show and spoke about his feelings towards welcoming a baby boy this year. The musician revealed how his wife Katelyn encouraged him to get a vasectomy after they found out she was unexpectedly pregnant again.

“I’m scared for three,” he admitted on the podcast, adding, “I guess it was God’s plan.”

After the baby news, Brown said his wife of five years encouraged him to get a vasectomy — which he eventually did. "Kate got me neutered already," he joked.

"She was telling me you gotta go get it," Brown explained. "And every time she would say that or tell somebody, dude my stomach, I just get sick. Man, I can’t do it.“

Brown and his wife revealed in December 2023 that they were expecting a third baby by sharing a photo to Instagram of themselves alongside their two daughters, who held up a sonogram.

The couple captioned the post, “Last Christmas of 4 🎄❤️ Merry Christmas everyone!!" as several of their famous friends — including Taylor Lautner, Cole Swindell and Russell Dickerson — congratulated them.

At February's 2024 People's Choice Awards pre-show, Brown shared that his daughters were “so excited” to add another member to their family.

“Oldest is you know always touching my wife's belly and and just so happy for us to be adding to the family," he explained of Kingsley.
