Kane Brown Says Daughter Kingsley Is 'Always Touching My Wife's Belly' as He and Katelyn Ready for Baby No. 3

"I've been at home and it's just me and my wife and the babies," the country singer said during the 2024 People's Choice Awards pre-show on Sunday

Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn will soon be a party of five — and their daughters can’t wait.

The country star, 30, told Laverne Cox during Sunday's 2024 People's Choice Awards pre-show that daughters Kingsley, 4, and Kodi, 2, are “so excited” to welcome a baby brother this year.

“Oldest is you know always touching my wife's belly and and just so happy for us to be adding to the family,” Brown said.

The “Be Like That” singer appreciated the awards show giving him a change of scenery for the night.

“I'm just feeling good to get out of the house,” he said. “I've been at home and it's just me and my wife and the babies. I feel like I've just been stuck so it feels good just to be out, have some fresh air.”

Cox, 51, asked the male country artist of the year nominee for his advice on anyone hoping to achieve career success like his.

“My boy Hardy said it best the other day: never have a plan B. Just always go for it if you're gonna do it,” Brown said. “So I would say that's what I did as well. And I feel like a lot of other people, full steam ahead.”

Kane and Katelyn, 31, announced the news of baby No. 3 on Christmas Day. “Last Christmas of 4 🎄❤️ Merry Christmas everyone!!” they captioned a joint nstagram post featuring Kingsley holding a sonogram photo.

A little more than two weeks later, the couple, who tied the knot in October 2018, posted an Instagram video revealing that the baby will be a boy.

"We know if the baby in mommy's tummy is a boy or a girl. Do you want to find out?" Katelyn told Kingsley in the video, explaining that they will cut into a cake that will be either pink or blue in the middle.

The single-layer cake had "What will baby bee?" written in black frosting and had bees and lilies for its design. When Kane saw the blue inside the cake, he smiled and raised his left fist in the air before holding his hands high with excitement. He hugged Kodi tightly as the words, "Baby boy Brown, coming 2024," flashed on the video.
