Kane Brown Gets Emotional as He and Wife Katelyn Reveal Sex of Baby on the Way

This will be the third baby for the couple, who share daughters daughters Kingsley Rose and Kodi Jane

Kane Brown is going to be a boy dad!

The country star, 30, and his wife, Katelyn Jae Brown, shared the big news in a behind-the-scenes video of the sex reveal posted on Instagram Tuesday.

Before the reveal took place, the “Be Like That” singer smiled as he predicted that their third baby would be a girl. Their daughter Kingsley Rose comes into the room and is told that her parents have a surprise.

"We know if the baby in mommy's tummy is a boy or a girl. Do you want to find out?" Katelyn, 31, tells their 4-year-old daughter, explaining that they will cut into a cake that is either pink or blue in the middle. The single-layer cake had "What will baby bee?" written in black frosting and had bees and lilies for its design.

After Katelyn began a countdown, the parents cut into the cake and were overjoyed to see blue inside. The expectant mother let out a scream and looked straight out into the camera in shock.

Kane smiled, raising his left fist in the air before holding his hands high with excitement. He hugged their 2-year-old daughter Kodi Jane tightly as the camera gave a new look at the cake, and the words, "Baby boy Brown, coming 2024," came on screen.

The comment section was filled with many congratulatory messages. Musician Dee Jay Silver wrote, "It was the goggles for me!!!!! Love all this." Coffee with Kailey podcast host Kailey Dickerson commented, "I. Can. Notttttt. Radford's future BFF."

Taylor Lautner wrote in the comment section, "Wow wow wow wowwwwww. His wife, Taylor Dome Lautner, commented, "OMGGGGG!!! Congrats yall💙💙💙."

Fellow country music star Jason Aldean wrote, "Come On!!! Congrats lil bro! Girls are the best but glad you got your boy too. So happy for y'all.@kanebrown @katelynbrown."

The couple revealed they are expecting their third baby together on Christmas Day. The announcement was shared on Instagram, including a family photo where they all wear matching white and brown outfits while sitting on a sofa.

The photo showed Kingsley Rose smiling as she held onto a baby sonogram. The joint post was captioned, "Last Christmas of 4 🎄❤️ Merry Christmas everyone!!"
