On the July 17 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Marlo Hampton wanted every moment of the getaway she planned for her castmates to be perfect — yes, even the two-hour drive from Atlanta to Blue Ridge, Georgia. “I want these girls to have a great time and show them how Marlo travels with class,” Marlo explained in an interview. “So I just want to spoil them.”

With that in mind, Marlo not only sent a 2022 Aston Martin DBX for Kandi Burruss, Drew Sidora, and Monyetta Shaw but also made sure they had lunch on the road with a delivery from Kandi’s restaurant, OLG. However, there was one slight problem. “We can’t eat in the car,” their driver for the day said. “There’s no way we can eat in the car. I’m sorry.”

Suddenly, their luxury ride seemed way less impressive to Kandi. “If I can’t eat, I don’t want to ride in it,” she said in an interview. With that, Kandi, Drew, and Monyetta got out of the car to go enjoy the food. “I am not nice when I’m hungry,” Kandi admitted, to which Drew added, “Especially if we would have smelled this chicken the whole ride.”

In Marlo and Shereé Whitfield’s car for the day, a 2022 Rolls-Royce Ghost, the same rules did not apply. Not only did they snack on individual charcuterie and cheese platters and what appeared to be Golden Flake Sweet Heat Barbecue Fried Pork Skins, they also made mixed drinks for the trip.

Of course, Kandi was quick to get to the bottom of the situation when Marlo called them on FaceTime from the road. “Why’d you send us a car with some OLG wings, and they told us we can’t eat in the car?” Kandi asked, to which Marlo replied, “I’m sorry… but did you like your wings?” And, yes, Kandi had to admit, “I appreciated that.”
