Kandi Burruss Is Bringing Back Y2K Style in a Gorgeous New Interview Look

Over the years, we’ve seen Kandi Burruss change her look in various ways, from trying out a moody, dark lipstick in 2020 to rocking a spicy orange-red hair color in 2021.

What’s more, we rounded up all the different styles Kandi wore to The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunions from Seasons 2 through 14. Through all her various looks, we were able to see how the songwriter’s style has evolved over the years and how she’s played with different aesthetics.

From the yellow-and-black cheetah-print dress and short auburn-and-blonde curls she wore for the Season 3 reunion to the glamorous white plunging gown she wore in Season 7 to the dominatrix-style leather corset and ’50s-retro hair that stunned Andy Cohen at the Season 13 sit-down, Kandi has proved she’s incredibly versatile on the style and beauty front.

For now, we want to pivot to the most recent season of RHOA, where Kandi recently stunned us by changing up her look yet again, this time with a colorful, funky style that brought us back to the early 2000s.

Kandi Burruss wears a new Y2K-inspired confessional look

On RHOA Season 15 Episode 10, which aired on July 16, Kandi showed off her latest confessional look, turning heads in a baby pink latex halter dress with matching long pointed nails.

For her beauty look, we were floored by the Atlanta mom’s choice of eye makeup. She coordinated her glam with her outfit, wearing a light pink on her lids and a glowing blue tint on her lower lash lines. The style, which made us think of the early 2000s and its playful pops of color, was complemented by Kandi’s long, luscious lashes and well-defined eyebrows.

Kandi also kept things playful with her hairstyle, crafting a bun-like updo with thick braids that twisted around on the top of her head and a silver chain hanging elegantly off one side. Her silver geometric triangular earrings gave the perfect punch to the whole look.

In a July 6 Instagram post, Kandi shared a shot of her look, which consisted of a tangerine-colored crop top and baggy cargo jeans, similar to those you would have found in the late ’90s or at the turn of the millennium.

In the caption the post, Kandi wrote, “I really enjoyed myself in NYC [and] NJ this past week. I might become a Jersey girl after all,” adding a crying-laughing emoji, causing us to wonder if the Georgia peach will really move up North.

When a commenter asked if she stayed at her husband Todd Tucker’s New Jersey condo, Kandi replied, “Yep.” After adding another laughing emoji, she revealed, “He finished it. It’s really nice now.”
