Kali Uchis Dishes On Recently Revealed Pregnancy With Don Toliver

Kali Uchis further dished on her recently announced pregnancy with Don Toliver while speaking with Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1. The singer expressed her feelings about releasing the news to the world and also spoke on the feedback she’s received since then.
“I’m really happy. It feels really freeing,” she started. “We go out all the time to eat or to run errands or to whatever, and I would just be wearing a coat because I didn’t want anyone to sneak a picture or make an announcement for us. So yeah, it’s a good feeling to just be out with it now.”
Speaking on dating the “After Party” singer, she added, “Our relationship is a lot deeper than all of this other stuff, so we definitely like to balance keeping our private life private.”
The music collaborators broke the news of their first pregnancy on Thursday (Jan. 11) via Instagram. In a video montage, the couple shared moments over the last month including visits to the doctor, spending time together, and even footage of them both as children.
“Starting our family. Don’t take too long to get here little pooks, mom & dad can’t wait to share our life with you,” the caption read on their collaborative post. See below.
The pair first confirmed their relationship in 2021 when Toliver dished to W Magazine, “We’re not crazy public or nothing like that. We just vibe.”
However things have apparently changed as the two are no strangers to PDA nowadays, whether it be on the red carpet or in music videos.
The two dropped the aforementioned Beenie Man-sampling track “4 Me” last year, where Kali puts her own spin on Mya’s part. The track hails from Toliver’s LP, Love Sick.
