Kaley Cuoco Talks Divorce From Ryan Sweeting: ‘Last Year Was Very Bizarre’
Kaley Cuoco is looking ahead.
During an interview Tuesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote The Big Bang Theory’s 200th episode, the blonde talked about her ongoing divorce from Ryan Sweeting after just a year and a half of marriage. It seemed like she still hasn’t wrapped her head all the way around it.
“Last year was very bizarre,” the 30-year-old actress admitted, “and we all go through really weird ups and downs. … Everyone goes through that stuff.”
It’s only February, but this year trumps last year by far, she admitted.
“I already feel like 2016 is going to be a much better year than 2015,” Cuoco continued. “It’s been rough, but things are going good. I’m much, much better now. I’m in a much better place than I was.”
When Ellen asked how long she was married, she seemed embarrassed it was so brief.
“Not that a long — a year and a half,” she replied. “I know, I know, I know. I had the date tattooed on my back and everything to remind me.”

Ellen quipped, “Maybe you should have put it on your front.”
“I know, I know — don’t tattoo wedding date,” Kaley replied. “The tattoo was a mistake. I had to cover it.”
Talking about the moth tattoo she got to cover the date, Kaley said, “The significance is it was big enough to cover the numbers. … It’s just what I picked out when I was there.”
As for her rumored romance with country singer Sam Hunt, she said the story is untrue. “Really — not,” she told Extra. And she claimed that her life is actually pretty boring.
“It’s the same thing every day,” she said. “It’s not that interesting. I go to the same yoga class. It’s like — it’s getting to be boring even for myself. I don’t know what’s interesting about it. I really don’t. If I walked out of the stable with my horse, they would say I’m marrying my horse, so it doesn’t matter.”
