Kaley Cuoco says quarantine 'forced' her to move in with husband Karl Cook amid coronavirus

Quarantine has a way of bringing people together — like Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook, who are now officially living together.

The "Big Bang Theory" alum appeared on Monday's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" episode via video chat from her home and shared said how the coronavirus pandemic has "forced" the couple to move in together.

"We've been married for a year and a half, been together for almost four years and this quarantine has forced us to actually move in together," Cuoco said. "It's been great for our relationship, and we like each other we realized, which is even better."

Cuoco opened up about her unconventional marriage to equestrian Cook, whom she wed in July 2018, confirming the plan for the couple to move in together for the first time in April in an interview with "Access" from March.

Cuoco said she planned to have her first night with Cook in their new home once she wrapped filming her latest project. The actress was shooting an upcoming TV series called "The Flight Attendant," according to IMDB.

"I was shooting in New York and got sent back here obviously because of everything that was going on and we got to move into the house together," Cuoco told Kimmel. "So we moved in and I can't find anything, but the house is great."

Cuoco also shared how she's been spending her time in quarantine.

"Jimmy this is the thing: usually when I come on your show, I've prepped stories … I kept thinking 'what am I going to say?' because you're looking at it," Cuoco said. "A lot of drinking and trying to keep the dogs occupied. We don't have kids we just have 17,000 animals."

The actress first revealed her "unconventional" marriage to E! News in August and has continued to be open about the arrangement.

"Everyone was, like, so crazed," she told Access of those criticizing her marital living situation. "They couldn't believe. I was like, 'Why do you care?' Didn't understand it."

'We're going steady': Kaley Cuoco talks finally moving in with husband Karl Cook

Last year, Cuoco appeared on the "Brad Behavior" podcast, where she explained how living apart from her husband has been working great for their relationship.

"The older I get, I know now what works for me," Cuoco said. "Even when Karl and I met, and I knew I was totally in love with him and we wanted to get married, we both really like our own lives and we actually like our own couches."

Cuoco, 34, said she didn't want to move in right away, adding both of them love their alone time. She added that even though they're in separate places, they're still always together.

"But we've had separate locations and whether that's helped us mentally or not, I've obviously never been in a better relationship and I want this to last the rest of my life so, in a way, we're actually taking it slow," she told host Brad Goreski on the podcast. "We've been together for almost four years. We've not lived together. We are building our house, as you know. We will be under the same roof, eventually, but this has worked for us."
