Kaley Cuoco Cries at Final 'Big Bang Theory' Table Read: 'Prepare Yourselves'

Kaley Cuoco is saying a tear-filled goodbye to The Big Bang Theory.

The actress, who plays Penny on the CBS sitcom, shared an emotional set of posts to Instagram on Wednesday marking the series’ very last table read before it wraps for good in May.

“Yea, didn’t sleep,” she captioned a photo of the final script, which reads, “End of series” across the front.

Cuoco, 33, followed that up with a photo of her holding the script in her arms as the tears flowed.

“Post table read for @bigbangtheory_cbs finale episode,” she wrote.

A third picture showed off the many tissues she needed to make it through the read.

“Prepare yourselves … for a finale that has truly given me a loss for words ❤️ Our whole universe …..,” she captioned the post.

Costar Kunal Nayyar also shared the final script on Instagram, writing, “Just read the final episode… Gnite #tbbt.”

Johnny Galecki, who plays Leonard, commented, “Roughest page ever read. XO.”

The Emmy-winning series premiered in 2007, when Cuoco was just 20 years old, and will end in May at the conclusion of season 12.

Last month, The Big Bang Theory surpassed Cheers as the longest-running American multi-camera sitcom when it aired its 276th episode.

Cuoco celebrated the milestone on Instagram, sharing a cast photo of everyone gathered around a tray of cupcakes spelling out “276.”
