Kaley Cuoco celebrates Golden Globes loss with pizza, champagne on her kitchen floor

No award, no problem: That isn't stopping Kaley Cuoco from celebrating.

"The Flight Attendant" star, who was nominated for her first Golden Globe award, joked about her loss on Sunday with a photo of herself indulging in pizza, cake and champagne while rocking a tiara.

"I would like to thank...never mind !!" Cuoco wrote after losing to "Schitt's Creek" star Catherine O'Hara for best actress in a TV series, musical or comedy.

Cuoco was nominated for her performance in HBO Max's "The Flight Attendant." Other nominees in the category included Lily Collins for "Emily in Paris," Elle Fanning for "The Great" and Jane Levy for "Zoe's Extraordinary Playlist."

Celebrities took to the comments to show appreciation for Cuoco's humor, with actress Alyssa Milano calling her post "the best."

"Adorable!" Kristin Chenoweth added.

Days before the Golden Globes, Cuoco honored O'Hara, whom she called her "comedy queen," in a sweet Instagram post.

"Anyone who knows me knows what this moment meant to me. I finally met my comedy queen #catherineohara and she’s everything I hoped and dreamed," she wrote alongside a photo of the two together.

Known for her role as Penny in the hit sitcom "The Big Bang Theory," Cuoco showed off her comedic and dramatic chops in HBO Max's limited series "The Flight Attendant" (★★★ out of four), which USA TODAY's TV critic described as "a melodrama that mixes dark comedy, murder mystery and an emotional story about addiction."

"This is definitely my coming-out party in the sense of showing everyone I can do something other than comedy. It gets quite dark, quite emotional," she told USA TODAY in November. "This is my way of pushing the door down and going, 'I can do more and I love doing more.'"

Steven Molaro, executive producer of "Big Bang" and spinoff "Young Sheldon," watched the first two episodes of "Flight Attendant" and was "blown away" by Cuoco's transition.

"It doesn't feel like you're watching Penny. She's a different person," he told USA TODAY. "Between making incredible choices as an actor and being in the moment at the same time, I've never seen anything quite like it."
