Kaitlyn Bristowe & Jason Tartick Admit Their 'Hot and Heavy' Hookup Story Was 'Inappropriate'
Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick shared a very revealing story about the first time they hooked up — and they both think it may have been a bit of an overshare.
On Friday’s episode of the podcast Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe, Bristowe, 33, and Tartick, 30, kicked things off by addressing the “hot and heavy” story they told on Tuesday’s episode.
During the earlier episode, Bristowe told Bachelor Nation that when the couple first hooked up, the fact that she was on her period prevented them from having sex but it didn’t stop them from getting intimate in other ways.
“I was like, ‘Yo, let’s just dry hump.’ So we did. Literally, I had pants on,” she explained, adding, “We were fully clothed and hot and heavy.” She went on to joke that “in five minutes, he picked my nose and gave me an orgasm.”
Providing a little explanation during Friday’s episode, Bristowe explained that the admission occurred during a live episode of the podcast.
“Once you’re on a stage, you really let loose and you want to please the crowd,” she admitted, adding that “when you mix in all the tequila shots that were sent our way” you get “an inappropriate podcast.”

Bristowe went on to share that she only realized the full extent of what she’d shared after the story began circulating online.
“When I read it as the article, I was like, ‘Oh, damn, that’s a lot. I don’t want my family reading that,’ ” she shared. “But in the moment, it’s so funny because it’s a confession and the whole room is laughing.”
“I think people were like, ‘Damn, that’s gross,’ but I’m like, ‘You kind of had to be there,’ ” she added.
“That being said… inappropriate,” Tartick added with a laugh, as Bristowe admitted that she should “maybe reel it in.”

The pair have been dating for a few months, after meeting on Bristowe’s podcast, but first confirmed their relationship during an appearance on the Today show in late January.
“We were friends. A little banter here and there and friendship turned into a relationship,” explained Tartick, who placed third on Becca Kufrin‘s season of The Bachelorette last year.
The confirmation came a little over a week after Bristowe referred to herself as Tartick’s girlfriend during a trip to Seattle.
In February, the pair made their social media debut together, posting sweet messages to each other in honor of Valentine’s Day. “So grateful for you,” Tartick captioned a photo of Bristowe wrapping her hands around his neck.
Meanwhile, Bristowe’s post featured a lengthy quote about the importance of finding true happiness, along with a photo of the pair together. “Thank you @jason_tartick for being you,” she wrote.

The couple’s relationship came nearly three months after Bristowe confirmed her split from Shawn Booth — whom she met, fell in love with and got engaged to on the season 19 finale of The Bachelorette in 2015 — in November 2018.
“After three incredible years, we have decided to go our separate ways. This difficult decision comes after thoughtful, respectful consideration. Even though we are parting as a couple, we’re very much committed to remaining friends and we will continue to support each other,” Bristowe and Booth said in a joint statement.
“Due to the nature of how we met, our relationship has always been very public, and we have enjoyed sharing it with all of you, but we ask that you respect our decision and our privacy at this time,” the exes continued.
