Kailyn Lowry is getting candid about "how hard it is to lose weight as an adult."

The pregnant podcast host, 31, revealed during a new episode of her Baby Mamas No Drama podcast with co-host Vee Rivera that she's considering using medication to help lose weight after she gives birth to her twins.

"How hard it is to lose weight as an adult, f--- my life. I'm scared," Lowry shared. "I'm ready for 2024 because I need to get Ozempic shots or something."

Ozempic is an FDA-approved prescription medication for people with type 2 diabetes. It's one of the brand names for semaglutide — also known as Wegovy and Mounjaro. Over the past year, Ozempic has skyrocketed in popularity in Hollywood and beyond as more people turn to the drugs for for casual weight loss.

Lowry, who added that getting her "mommy makeover" was the "best decision I ever made," is already a mother of five.

She shares 13-year-old Isaac with high school boyfriend Jo Rivera, 10-year-old Lincoln with ex-husband Javi Marroquin, 6-year-old Lux and 3-year-old Creed with ex Chris Lopez and one-year-old Rio with boyfriend Elijah Scott. In October 2023, she announced that she is expecting twins with Scott, a girl and a boy.

Lowry isn't the first celebrity to discuss taking Ozempic for pregnancy weight loss, as Stassi Schroeder did the same back in June on an episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast. During the discussion, Schroeder revealed she thought about taking it after her first pregnancy because she "ate bone broth for dinner for six f—king months after I gave birth."

Meghan McCain has also previously wrote that she was "urged" to start taking Ozempic to "melt away the baby weight" in 2023.

Last year, Ania Jastreboff, M.D., PhD., told PEOPLE that semaglutides like Ozempic work in the brain and "mimic those hormones that are released from our intestine and our pancreas when we eat, then impact different tissues in our body" — ultimately making patients feel full earlier when they eat.

Elsewhere in her podcast episode, Lowry admitted to wishing she had waited until she was done having kids" to have her "mommy makeover."

"Let me tell you why, though. I maintained the f--- out of it until I got pregnant with Lux."

"I was in the gym 5 days a week. If you're gonna get plastic surgery, you have to maintain it," Lowry added. "If you're gonna get plastic surgery for your body, your mommy makeover or whatever, it's a jump start to a lifestyle change."

"I don't know that I would have the same results just because you have to below 31 BMI so I'd have to lose wait before I'd even consider [myself] for it. Because the complications increase when you're overweight."

She added that, as for future surgery plans, she's eventually intending on getting a breast reduction "no matter what."
