Kaia Gerber Is Pure Elegance in a White Sequin Gown at the 2024 Met Gala

Kaia Gerber has made her dashing entrance at the 2024 Met Gala.

The supermodel was the epitome of sophistication in a strapless white Prada gown covered in large sequins, which gave it a subtle shine as she walked. She paired it simply with silver sandals and let her gleaming diamond jewelry do the talking. Dangling from her ears were large baby-pink oval diamonds with small white studs at the top. And on her chest rested a white diamond necklace with a giant pink diamond at the center.

Cindy Crawford’s look-alike daughter kept her glam timeless, opting for shimmery shadow, casually contoured makeup, and a voluminous, side-parted Old Hollywood hairdo.

Gerber’s boyfriend, Austin Butler, surprisingly did not make an appearance. The two, who started dating in late 2021, made their Met Gala debut the next year, in 2022, when the theme for the event was “Gilded Glamour.” It marked the model’s second Met Gala appearance ever, and she made sure to turn heads in a semi-sheer gown dripping in clear beads, by Alexander McQueen. Next to her, Butler looked suave in a black suit and undone silk tie.

They have since hit various red carpets together, always inspiring us with their ultra-chic couple style. Earlier this year, for example, they stepped out together for the world premiere of Butler’s much-awaited sci-fi film Dune: Part Two, and later for the after-party.

For that evening out, Gerber pulled out a sophisticated bodycon maxi dress in a deep brown with subtle golden sparkles all over. She styled the sleeveless piece with strappy golden heels, a matching golden leather clutch bag, and a black mini fur coat, which she carried on her arm. Butler wore an Elvis Presley–esque ensemble by Gucci, composed of a plunging jet-black double-breasted blazer, a white tank, and loose black suit pants. He further channeled the King of Rock ’n’ Roll in a pair of black leather boots with a block heel, and a dainty silver chain necklace.
