When you hear "'90s Cindy Crawford” what comes to mind? The supermodel’s chestnut hair with major volume and big, bouncy waves, of course. And we couldn’t imagine so many of her iconic looks and campaigns without it. We bet even Pepsi would agree. No wonder her daughter Kaia Gerber channeled her mom’s iconic signature hair at the 2024 Met Gala.

Gerber paid homage to her mom’s famous locks with volume that starts from the roots and is big and bouncy all over. After all, the '90s are back in a major way, and Gerber is driving the trend with this red carpet wonder. Known as a dead ringer for her mom, if you squint you just might think it’s Crawford. It's not the first time Gerber followed maternal instincts. She recently channeled her mom when she sported big curls reminiscent of an '80s perm.

Like mother like daughter, the rest of her look is all about classic beauty. Gerber’s makeup is simple yet stunning, relying on dark liner to play up those big brown peepers, a dusting of blush to highlight her hereditary cheekbones and a mauve lip.

A strapless white dress plays with texture with oversize paillettes that shimmer and shine when they catch the light. A timeless matching earrings and necklace duo completed the perennially pretty look.
