Kacey Musgraves Enlists Lana Del Rey, Troye Sivan, More for New Christmas Special and Album

Kacey Musgraves is getting in the holiday spirit. Her new special, The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show, is coming to Amazon Prime on November 29. Narrated by Dan Levy (Schitt’s Creek), the variety show finds Musgraves performing holiday songs with Lana Del Rey (“I’ll Be Home For Christmas”), Troye Sivan (the new song “Glittery”), Zooey Deschanel (“Mele Kalikimaka”), Camila Cabello (“Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”), Fred Armisen (“(Not So) Silent Night”) and more. Check out the trailer below, along with the tracklist for the companion soundtrack, which is also due out November 29.

“I can say without a doubt that this project is unlike anything I’ve ever done before,” Musgraves said in a press release. “What started as the small seed of an idea one night over a year ago has turned into something I’m so proud of. Some truly brilliant comedic and musical guests are featured in the show—as well as my own Grandma. My vision was to bring my old Christmas album to life visually and create a modern and fashionable, fresh take on a classic format. It’s a nostalgic, Wes Anderson-inspired reimagining of the holidays. It’s heartfelt, funny, and most of all, real. I can’t wait to finally share.”
