Imagine every worst ceremonial first pitch candidate you’ve seen rolled into one highlight. That’s the only way to describe what happened at Dodger Stadium Wednesday night.

Four members of the K-Pop band NCT 127 were invited to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Dodgers hosted the San Diego Padres.

Only one of them managed to not miss the intended target by a significant margin.

You’re off the hook, Bruce Willis.

As for 50 Cent, well, not so much. He’s still the standard bearer for poorly thrown celebrity first pitches.

From a group perspective though, we’ve never seen anything quite like this.

Who is NCT 127?

The group is the second sub-unit of the South Korean boy group NCT. The group is based out of Seoul and has been together since July 7, 2016.

The band’s trip to the United States and presence at Dodger Stadium is actually a huge deal.

The group performed on the “The Late Late Show” on Tuesday night. In preparation for their visit, the Dodgers even held a contest that allowed one lucky fan to meet and mingle with the nine band members before the game.

The response was reportedly huge and the meet-and-greet was quite a thrill for the winner.

While their first pitches could use a little work, clearly the group’s status as an international music and entertainment sensation is safe and secure.
