Justin Timberlake Posts Instagram With Pharrell and Timbaland, Teases Working With Superstar Producer Combo

In the early-to-mid ’00s, the only pop star/producer combo that could rival Justin Timberlake and Pharrell for musical potency and blockbuster potential was probably Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. Now, we might get all three of them collaborating together — and more.

Timberlake took to Instagram late Tuesday night (Mar. 28) to post a photo of him, Skateboard P and Timbo chilling together on a sofa. No context was given for the snapshot, but a couple hours later, JT quote-tweeted his former collaborator Danja — a regular co-producer of Timbaland’s as well — saying “What u think u gon get if I’m with Tim in one room… and Pharrell and Chad [Hugo, Pharrell’s partner in The Neptunes] in another room at the same time on the same project?”

Could new music from Timberlake and this dream-team production crew be on its way? No official word yet, but Justin commented on the tweet the always-telling “eyes” emoji, so don’t be surprised if it ends up coming to fruition soon enough.
