In recent weeks, Justin Timberlake has been embroiled in a scandal related to his PDA with a co-star who is very much not his wife. While filming the movie "Palmer" in New Orleans, the singer and actor was seen getting incredibly comfortable with his co-star, Alisha Wainwright.
The cuddle session was captured by cameras, and Timberlake has been dealing with the fallout ever since. While the photos didn't show any kissing, they did show the two holding hands and Timberlake with his hand on her thigh.

Justin Timberlake Spotted In Public For First Time Since His Apology To Jessica Biel
It's not a slam-dunk case where an actor was caught cheating. Even so, many fans were troubled by the images, especially because Timberlake's marriage to Jessica Biel has always seemed so stable.
The pair began dating more than a decade ago in 2007, and the two got married in Italy in 2012. They also have one child together: a son named Silas who was born in 2015. The two have also made it clear in recent years that they hope to see their family grow.
After the controversy blew up, Timberlake apologized on Instagram, stating that he "displayed a strong lapse of judgment" and "should have known better."
He was also careful to emphasize that nothing happened between he and Wainwright, but he wasn't excusing himself. Timberlake acknowledged that he'd put his wife in an awkward situation, and wanted to focus on "being the best husband and father" that he can be. Whether that apology will actually be enough for Biel remains to be seen.
According to InTouch, the couple has been on rocky waters for a few months now. "They’ve been fighting to save the marriage for the sake of Silas, but the photos of him wasted and being all handsy with Alisha is the final nail in the coffin," a source told the magazine.
Whether that's true or not, it's an ominous sign for the couple. Marriages have definitely survived more extreme behavior, but if things were already looking bad, this may have pushed them over the edge.
Fans should have hope that the two of them can manage to work through their rough patch and get to the other side. Some relationships can weather a bit of turbulence, and Biel and Timberlake have certainly been together long enough to fight for each other.
Still, it seems like the couple's once-solid foundation has begun to show signs of weakness. Once that happens, it takes a lot more work to make the relationship whole again than it might have before.
