Justin Timberlake is back in the studio — and back with Jessica Biel — after PDA scandal

Justin Timberlake has returned to Los Angeles, weeks after he was photographed getting too close to his Palmer co-star, Alisha Wainwright. A source tells E! News the movie has wrapped in New Orleans and he's back home with Jessica Biel and their 4-year-old son, Silas. The couple is reportedly "moving on" from what happened.

Last month, Timberlake, 38, and Wainwright, 30, were pictured holding hands during a night out. In another shot, her hand appeared to be on his leg. The musician publicly apologized to Biel, 37, and he's been doing the same in private.

"Justin has spent a lot of time apologizing and acknowledging Jessica's feelings," E!'s source continued. "He feels terrible and wishes he could take back the public humiliation and embarrassment he caused. He loves Jessica and being married to her. He will learn from what happened and not let it happen again."

The source added that The Sinner actress is "putting it all aside and focusing on their future together as a family."

The "Cry Me a River" singer is trying to get back to business as usual. On Thursday, he posted a photo from the studio.

On Wednesday, Timberlake suggested he's ready for some family time away. E! reports Biel and Timberlake will be celebrating Christmas together as a family and traveling.

Earlier this month, Timberlake addressed the photos with his co-star and maintained "nothing happened." However, he admitted to displaying a "strong lapse in judgment."

"I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better," he wrote on Instagram. "This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that."

Biel, whom he's been married to for seven years, isn't the only person whose trust Timberlake has to earn back. He's been taking heat from some fans on social media in the wake of the scandal.
