In the wake of the Alisha Wainwright controversy in New Orleans, Justin Timberlake has been going out of his way to gain back the trust of his wife, Jessica Biel. It hasn't been easy for him, though, as social media has been throwing out mixed opinions on how the couple should proceed moving forward.
Still, it's obvious that he's trying to smooth things over with Biel, despite the rough patch that they're currently going through in their marriage. Recently, Timberlake commented on one of Biel's Instagram posts and it's generating quite the buzz.

In one of her latest Instagram posts, Jessica Biel poses while sitting on an exercise ball, promoting one of her brands, Gaiam, a well-known yoga company.
While it's been reported that the actual picture is at least a year old, people were quick to point out that she wasn't wearing her wedding ring. If this picture was, in fact, from a long time ago, it has no bearing on the current issue between Timberlake and Biel. Still, this isn't what is being talked about.
It's the comment that Timberlake left on Biel's post and what it means for fans on social media.
Positive Reactions on Social Media
Timberlake commented with the slew of emojis ❤️😍❤️, leading people to have their own takes on what it means for the couple's relationship. There were countless positive comments, which encouraged them to continue to work on their relationship.
One user commented, "Well said!!!! 💗👏." Another shared, "You are a beautiful couple stay strong. And a third chimed in, saying, "We all make mistakes. We live and we learn. Just don't do it again lol.❤️."
Other fans offered advice on simply being kind to each other. One on Instagram shared, "Leave a comment that comes from a place of love, that is the reflection of your soul. Build don't destroy. We are humans and not perfect, I'm sure everyone in here had done something that they were not proud of. Be more compassionate and let people go on with their life. Not all the comments by fans on social media were positive, though. Many don't feel sympathy for Timberlake after he inappropriately mingled with his fellow costar, Alisha Wainwright, on the set of a film.
"Cry me a river," one user commented, referencing one of Timberlake's hit songs.
"Trying to get out of the dog house, huh," another chimed in.
Since everything began to unfold, Timberlake, himself, released a statement to clear up any uncertainties with infidelity, stating that he made a lapse in judgment, but that overall, nothing happened between the two while taking a break from filming.
The Future of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel
There's no doubt that people feel different ways about how Timberlake and Biel's relationship should proceed, but it's important to realize that only those two are ultimately responsible for what is to come.
They do share a child together and it seems that the two are attempting to work things out. Here's to hoping that they are able to smooth things over and get going with their lives again. I mean, it's Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel we're talking about, right?
