On Thursday, the couple was spotted smiling together at an afterparty for the premiere of Bloom's new Hulu drama series We Were the Lucky Ones in Los Angeles.

Theroux, 52, posed with Bloom at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures as he wore an all-black outfit. Bloom opted for a cream-colored dress with gold accessories for the night.

Bloom portrays the character Caroline in the series, which follows a Jewish family separated at the start of World War II and stars Joey King and Logan Lerman.

In We Were the Lucky Ones, the Holocaust drama that follows author Georgia Hunter's bestselling 2017 novel of the same name, showrunner Erica Lipez and director Thomas Kail tell the story of the Kurc family living in Radom, Poland.

King, who plays Halina Kurc in the series, called the show both "hopeful" and "optimistic" during a conversation at the Hulu Winter Television Critics Association gathering in Pasadena last month.

"There's so many people affected by World War II, of course. And there's so many interesting stories within all of those people, and [this] family happened to be one of those forcibly displaced families who we decided to tell the story of," King said at the time.

She later added, "It deals with a lot of pain and suffering and sadness, but there is a lot of hope in this show. And we hope people feel that as well."

The Hulu series marks Bloom's latest project since her work last year in The Gilded Age, per IMDB. She and Theroux made their red carpet debut together at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars party earlier this month.

While the duo had been spotted in New York City on several occasions in recent months — including during a gym outing in October and dining out with pals at Altro Paradiso restaurant in August — this month marked their first time making the relationship public on a red carpet.

Theroux, who was married to Jennifer Aniston from 2015 until 2018, described his discomfort with being in a "public relationship" during a May 2023 discussion with Esquire, when he revealed he wanted "all of my relationships to exist within the four walls of whatever room we're in."

"I'm not trying to be evasive, but I talk to Jen — I don't talk about Jen," he said. "People will always want to gossip and say things, but you have to find that balance. And having been in a public relationship, it's much more fun not being in a public relationship."

Theroux and Bloom were first spotted out at a Netflix event at the New York City social club Zero Bond in February 2023. Theroux later accompanied his partner at her twin sister's wedding in December.
