Justin Theroux posts sweet 50th birthday wishes for ex-wife Jennifer Aniston
Jennifer Aniston is feeling the birthday love.
The actress received 50th birthday wishes from her ex-husband Justin Theroux on Monday. Theroux posted a black-and-white image of Aniston to his Instagram with a caption reading, “Happy Birthday to this fierce Woman. Fiercely loving. Fiercely kind. ….and fiercely funny. ?? you B.”

Theroux and Aniston split in late 2017. They began dating in 2011 and married in 2015. “We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship,” they wrote in a joint statement in February 2018. “Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist the opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly. Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictionalized narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another.”
Aniston turned 50 on Monday after celebrating over the weekend with a star-studded birthday bash, which was attended by her other ex-husband, Brad Pitt.
In December, Aniston told Elle that she considered both of her marriages to be “very successful.” She explained, “My marriages, they’ve been very successful, in [my] personal opinion. And when they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness doesn’t exist within that arrangement anymore.”
Despite her high-profile romances that often make magazine covers, Aniston has been dedicated to her craft as late, appearing in 2018’s Dumplin’ and developing a morning show comedy alongside Reese Witherspoon for Apple.
