While co-hosting Friday's episode of The Talk, the 45-year-old actor shared that he loves wearing his wedding ring — despite his initial concerns that he would find it uncomfortable.

"I thought it would be stifling and I wouldn't be able to get it off. But I like it," said Long, who married actress Kate Bosworth in May 2023.

The topic of wedding rings came up after co-host Jerry O'Connell asked guest Milo Ventimiglia how he's enjoying married life. The This Is Us alum — who secretly wed model Jarah Mariano last year in a private ceremony — said he never takes his ring off because he's so "excited" about being a husband.

After Long admitted his hesitation about wearing a ring, Ventimiglia, 46, jokingly asked Bosworth, who was sitting in the audience, "You hear this?"

She laughingly replied, "I'm just letting him hang himself — like, over and over again."

Unruffled by his wife's playful ribbing, Long went on to reveal that the wedding band he's now wearing is not his original ring. "I lost it. I lost my ring. This is a second ring," he said, prompting co-host Sheryl Underwood to jokingly cut in and share the wives' point of view.

"I'm going to let y'all know something you don't know about women. We can feel and hear when that ring is coming off your finger," she said, as the camera panned to show Bosworth, 41, laughing along.

Long previously shared how he lost his wedding ring just months after tying the knot with Bosworth in a casual, impromptu ceremony at the Rockaway Hotel in Queens, New York. "I don’t have my ring on because I lost it, unfortunately," he told Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos on a May 2023 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark.

After the audience teasingly groaned in response, Long added, "Oh, okay, I didn’t have to reveal that! I could have just said I left it backstage!"

He also opened about married life with Bosworth, telling Ripa and Consuelos that he feels "very lucky" to have the Confidential Informant star as his wife and that he felt an instant spark with her the first time they met.

"Right away, I knew I was going to be friends with her forever. We got along so well," he said of Bosworth. "I know it sounds so generic."

In a 41st birthday tribute to Bosworth last month, Long appeared to hint that he envisions starting a family with his wife in the future.

“One day our kids might ask me, ‘Dad, why did you write sappy things about Mom on that old Instagram app? The one you won’t let us use?’ " Long wrote in his lengthy message on Instagram. “And I’ll say, ‘Well, _____, because there are a lot of poisonous things on the Internet but your mom always inspires me to put good things into the world.’ ”

He added: I’ve been so blessed to have experienced so many fun, wondrous things in this life — things for which I’ll never be able to properly express my gratitude — but of all those joys, touching your Mom and making her smile are my favorites."
