Weekend 1 of Coachella is in the books and the internet and festival goers are buzzing over the performances and surprise guests.

Day 1 headliner, Lana Del Rey, brought out singer Jon Batiste to sing “Candy Necklace.” The surprises didn’t end there. Billie Eilish hopped onto the main stage later on to sing “Ocean Eyes” and then De Rey’s song “Video Games.”

Jack Antonoff also joined in on the fun towards the end of the “Summertime Sadness” singer’s performance. He played the piano to “Hope Is a Dangerous Thing for a Woman Like Me — but I Have It,” while a hologram of Del Rey performed the song.

Meanwhile, at the Sahara tent, Argentine producer Bizarrap brought out Shakira to perform “La Fuerte.”

Before leaving the stage, Shakira revealed to fans that she was going on tour and announced the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. More details will come on April 16, according to her website.

Also on Friday night, Peso Pluma brought out Inglewood native, Becky G to the main stage to perform their song “Chanel.” Last year Becky G brought out Pluma as her surprise guest.

Back in January, No Doubt fans were feeling “Hella Good” when the band announced they were going to reunite at the festival for the first time in nearly a decade.

On Dight 2, fans were even more surprised when Olivia Rodrigo joined the Orange County-based band to sing “Bathwater.” Of course, she did so in true Gwen Stefani fashion rocking a tank top that said “I love ND,” industrial pants and red lipstick.

Tyler the Creator headlined the festival’s second day, and surprised fans by bringing out Childish Gambino, A$AP Rocky, Charlie Wilson and Kali Uchis.

The three-day festival ended with a bang on Sunday.

Ke$ha joined Reneé Rapp’s set to perform her 2010 hit “TiK ToK,” but she changed the line “Wake up in the mornin’ feelin’ like P Diddy” to “Wake up in the mornin’ like f— P Diddy.” This comes as the hip-hop mogul has been named in lawsuits alleging sexual assault.

Singer TEMS surprised fans by welcoming Justin Bieber and Wizkid onstage. The trio performed the remix to Wizkid’s 2020 song “Essence.”

Earlier that day the singer hinted to fans that she had something special in store for them.

“Coachella! I’m too excited. I have a surprise tonight,” she wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

J. Balvin’s intergalactic-themed performance featured one of the best-kept secrets in the universe, a member of the “Men in Black.”

Donned in a black suit and sunglasses, Will Smith jumped on stage to perform the hit song from the 1997 Sci-Fi comedy. The song ended with two people dressed in black capturing Balvin and taking him offstage.

Doja Cat closed out the festival as the headliner for Day 3. Her list of special guests included 21 Savage, Teezo Touchdown and A$AP Rocky. The three artists performed their collaborations with the singer/ rapper.

Doja performed “N.H.I.E.” with 21 Savage, “Masc” with Teezo Touchdown, and “Urrrge” with A$AP Rocky.

Weekend 2 of Coachella kicks off on April 19.
