Justin Bieber really wants Seth Rogen to roast him
Justin Bieber doesn’t seem to be afraid of his upcoming Comedy Central roast, seeing as he’s specifically requesting an appearance by Seth Rogen, the man who once called him a “piece of sh–” on the radio.
The next edition of Comedy Central Roasts will feature the divisive singer as the target of myriad barbs by host Kevin Hart and a bevy of other comics. It’ll take place on March 30, but Rogen’s involvement is unknown.
Here’s Biebs’ Twitter plea, a six-tweet effort, counting a pair from Thursday and continuing Monday:
@Sethrogen all I want for my birthday is for you to roast me. I took the twitter bashing please make my bday and do it in person. Thanks

@Sethrogen I would have emailed u but this is the only electronic communication with u that doesn't scare me. Hope to see u at the roast :)

@Sethrogen come on man. Check your voicemail. I took it like a man as u blasted a nervous kid fan of yours (me). Now I'm a man. Roast me!

The last was a cross-promotional message for Skrillex and Diplo’s new album Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü, which includes a song called “Where Are Ü Now” featuring—of course—the Canadian musician.
Rogen infamously took to Howard Stern’s show in May 2014 to express his general dislike of the singer, concluding with, “I remember thinking, ‘He’s a piece of sh–.’ ” Maybe Bieber just wants some softball burns: If Rogen’s comment were uttered at the roast, it would be one of the nicer things said, given the series’ track record.
