Justice League's Henry Cavill is gearing up to star in new rom-com movie The Rosie Project.
The actor, who made his debut as Superman back in 2013's Man of Steel, is set to ditch the cape (and likely don a shirt) for his role as genetics professor Don Tillman in the upcoming project.
The movie, which will be directed by Orange is the New Black's Stephen Falk, centres on Don's quest for love - something that is hindered by his inability to ever snag a second date.

Desperate, he thinks up 'The Wife Project,' a questionnaire that he believes will help himself and other hopeful singletons find their perfect match. But his idea that you might only fall for someone who meets your existing criteria is challenged when he meets - and ultimately, develops feelings for - free-spirited bartender Rosie.
Based on Graeme Simsion's novel of the same name, it is expected to begin production in early 2022. Matt Tolmach (Spider-Man: Far From Home) and Michael Costigan (Stoker) are on board to produce.
Before then though, Cavill will be seen in the long awaited second instalment of Netflix's fantasy hit The Witcher.

While it remains somewhat of a mystery where the journeys of monster hunter Geralt (Cavill), sorceress Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and princess Ciri (Freya Allen) will take them in season 2, showrunner Lauren S Hissrich has hinted that Geralt and Yennefer won't find their happy endings with one another.
"What I like to imagine is that Yennefer and Geralt are both used to doing it one way; they're both sort of perpetual bachelors," she said on the 3rd & Fairfax: Writers Guild of America West podcast earlier this month.
"These people are never going to be sheep farmers and basket weavers. They both have this sort of desire to live on this edge of life and death."
