Kristin Davis is opening up about the skepticism she's dealt with for having cosmetic work, including fillers.

The "Sex and the City" and "And Just Like That" star, who plays the notoriously girly and traditional Charlotte in both the original show and the revival, said that she's had work done – some that's turned out well and some that hasn't.

"I was super excited I didn’t have to have my lateral lines," Davis, 58, told the Telegraph in a profile ahead of "And Just Like That" Season 2, set to stream June 23 on Max.

She started with Botox in her forehead: "But I didn’t do anything else for a long time."

Lip fillers, she said, proved to be problematic in more than one way.

"No one told me it didn't look good for the longest time. But luckily I do have good friends who did say eventually," Davis said. "The thing is you don’t smile at yourself in the mirror. Who smiles at themselves in the mirror? Crazy people."

Cosmetic work has become more and more popular in the age of social media as unrealistic beauty standards continue to circulate. And trends have emerged to showcase procedures have risen — which is not necessarily a good thing, according to experts.

"I’ve had to get them dissolved and I’ve been ridiculed relentlessly," she said. "And I have shed tears about it. It’s very stressful."

Now, she said, she's not getting fillers. "It’s whatever. I can’t keep it up. I don’t have time. You’re trusting doctors (but) people personally blame us when it goes wrong – (as if) I jabbed a needle in my face."

The work she's had done has come alongside constantly being compared to the younger version of her, she said.

"It’s hard to be confronted with your younger self at all times," she said. "And it's a challenge to remember that you don't have to look like that."

Potential risks and side effects of Botox include swelling, superficial discoloration of the skin and drooping. For fillers, infection, migration of the filler and nodules or lumps are among the risks.

In the trailer for the second season of Max's "Sex and the City" sequel series, "And Just Like That," fans will see a couple familiar faces beyond Davis and co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon.

Aidan, played by John Corbett, is back in Carrie's (Parker) life after not being seen in the "SATC" universe since the 2010 second feature film. Although Corbett teased he might be involved in Season 1, Carrie's hunky furniture-designer ex never made an appearance. But all that changed in the new trailer with a brief glimpse of Aidan in the final seconds.

Kim Cattrall, who previously said a return to the show is "a no from me," is also set to reprise her role as Samantha Jones, though no further details of her involvement have been shared.

Elsewhere in the lives of Carrie, Charlotte (Kirstin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon)? Charlotte is worried about a "MILF" list at her daughter's school, Miranda is settling into her relationship with Che (Sara Ramirez) and Carrie is exploring casual sex to move past her grief for her husband John/Mr. Big (Chris Noth) who died shockingly in Season 1 of "That."
