Mario Lopez‘s kids had a birthday party that was “totally tubular!”

The Extra host, 42, and his wife Courtney threw their son and daughter a Finding Dory-themed extravaganza.

Birthday girl Gia Francesca, 6, and Dominic, 3, rang in their September birthdays with a candy- and creature-filled afternoon under the sea.

The sibling set wore custom made shirts with their name and age on the front, while their parents sported “Just Keep Swimming” shirts. About 120 people came to the outdoor event, and family members flew in from Pittsburgh, Delaware, Ohio and San Diego.

Courtney, 33, used Avery‘s DIY online tools to design the “Under the Sea” custom labels for the elaborate candy bar, stuffed animal aquarium and more.

Good Carma Studio created “Gia and Dominic’s Coral Reef Candy Bar,” which featured bouquets of lollipops, jars of gum balls and of course, plenty of goldfish.

Kids also had the chance to get their faces painted, indulge in some delicious snow cones and hop around in a bouncy house.

And for refreshments, guests enjoyed a La Croix sparkling water bar.

After enjoying some pizza, the birthday kids and their guests dove into an array of sweet treats. The dessert station had a plethora of cookies and other confections, including a cupcake cake featuring Nemo and Dory.

The dozens of attendees were also entertained with a special performance from America’s Got Talent‘s Monster Kids. The family of entertainers put on a show to the music provided by their pint-sized 8-year-old DJ.

After the event was over, guests headed home with a sand bucket of treasures from the day.

Dory and Nemo puzzles, a Dory journal and personalized Mabel’s Labels were just a few of the favors included in the brightly colored packages.

With last year’s carnival-themed event and this year’s under-the-water wonderland, Gia and Dominic’s next party is sure to impress. But the major milestones are a bit bittersweet for their proud father.

“I’d love to see them stay small, but I’m so happy to see them growing up into respectful, polite, big kids,” he told PEOPLE last September. “That’s what’s most important to me.”
