Jussie Smollett Returns To Social Media After Months Absence With Heartfelt Message

Jussie Smollett has made his return to social media, which happened to be the same day that his former show "Empire" aired.

The ex-Lion family member has been absent from Instagram and Twitter for months but did a comeback for his little sister, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, on her 33rd birthday Tuesday.

Sharing several photos with his sibling on his IG story, Jussie wrote a heartfelt message stating, "I love you more than life."

His family played a vital part in supporting the star after he was accused of lying to police and faking an alleged hate crime against himself earlier this year.

As The Blast reported, Jussie was sued by the city of Chicago for the money wasted on law enforcement to investigate the alleged incident.

Jurnee, who's starred in shows like "Parenthood," "True Blood," and more, was there every step of the way defending him against the accusations.

While Jussie has stayed off his social media since June, he recently reappeared when another sister, Jazz Smollett, posted pictures with the star in July.

Those snaps showed the "Empire" actor was moving on with life after the scandal.

The summer photos showed Jussie at a New York City restaurant with his family enjoying his night like any regular person.

The siblings are super close.

Jussie, Jazz, Jurnee and their brother, Jake, even have a cook book together.

It's been a while since fans have heard from Jussie.

The final season of "Empire" aired last month and it was announced he will not be in it.

The fight isn't over for Jussie, despite all charges being dropped against him, he's still battling with Chicago over the money spent investigating the alleged hoax.
