In the case of the “Jurassic Park” movies, at least that involves watching dinosaurs eat people as punishment for mankind’s unending hubris. J. A. Bayona is picking up where Colin Trevorrow left off with the record-breaking “Jurassic World,” which made nearly $1.7 billion worldwide. Bayona most recently directed “A Monster Calls” after previously helming “The Impossible” and “The Orphanage.” Chris Pratt is once again the star of the show, and this time it’s personal: Blue, his beloved Velociraptor, is somewhere on Isla Nublar and has to choose between nature and nurture.

Bryce Dallas Howard, B.D. Wong, James Cromwell, Geraldine Chaplin, and Toby Jones co-star in the film, the fifth in the series. Universal Pictures will release “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” in theaters on June 7.
