Julieta Venegas to perform at Speaking Rock as part of World Tour 2022

Mexican singer and songwriter Julieta Venegas will perform Oct. 15 at Speaking Rock Entertainment Center.
Venegas, who plays multiple instruments, sings pop-rock-indie in Spanish. She will come to El Paso as part of her World Tour 2022, which has taken her through Argentina, Chile, Spain, Mexico and the United States.
Throughout her career, she has earned two Grammy Awards and 10 Latin Grammy Awards, along with two Billboard Music Awards, and seven MTV Awards, among others.
In March, she announced on her Instagram page that she had new music coming out. She is planning a full album to be produced by Chilean synth-pop singer/songwriter Alex Anwandter. According to Rolling Stone, he gained recognition as the lead singer of the band Teleradio Donoso. He hasn't had a full project as a soloist since 2018 with Latinoamericana.
The first single off this album, "Mismo Amor," was released in March.
The concert, for 21 and older, in El Paso is free, so mark your calendar for this special treat. Doors open at 6 p.m.
