Julianne Hough's Husband Brooks Laich Fuels Marriage Trouble Rumors With Exploring Sexuality Comments
Julianne Hough's husband, Brooks Laich did his best to explain his New Year's goal of learning more "about his sexuality" but only added fuel to speculation that his marriage is in trouble.
The former pro hockey player opened up on the latest episode of his podcast, "How Men Think" where he expressed his desire to further explore his sexuality. His comments gave many fans pause because it has been reported that Julianne and he have been having trouble in their marriage and have started living very separate lives.

Brooks Explains It All
Laich stated that he does not feel “100 percent fully expressed” when it comes to his true self and his sexuality but said he plans to change that.
“One of my goals this year is to really explore like, learning about sexuality,” he said.
“People think that sexuality is just the act of sex, of just having sex and there’s so much more to it. Here’s a question. This is an honest question for everybody in this room, and every single person listening: Are you fully 100 percent fully expressed in your true sexuality? With your partner? With everything? You could not imagine having a better sex life? Are you truly there?” he exclaimed on his podcast. “I’m not either. So that’s what one of my goals this year is to really dive into. So then we’re all essentially, that’s a state of suffering.”
He continued, "Do you even know who you are sexually? And I truly, to my core, do not. But I’m super excited about that journey to really learn about sexuality and also get better at the performance of it, but also just the understanding of who I am, who my wife is, that sort of dance.”
Based on those comments it seems like he is working on his relationship despite the fact he shared several cryptic messages and Julianne has not been wearing her wedding ring.
Trouble In Paradise
Earlier this month, a source told PEOPLE that there is trouble in paradise and they started growing apart months ago.
"They’ve been having problems for months. She’s very independent and a free spirit, and that’s been tough for Brooks and their marriage," PEOPLE's source said.
A different insider said, "It seems they are not giving up, but also not talking about it. They want to do this their way."
"They don’t want to discuss their marriage. They have been having problems, but many people do."
Perhaps Julianne's confession to Woman's Health Magazine that she is "not straight" signaled the beginning of the end for the duo.
