More from Deadline

Slated for release in IMAX on October 3, 2025, The Bride! sees a lonely Frankenstein travel to 1930s Chicago to seek the aide of a Dr. Euphronius in creating a companion for himself. The two reinvigorate a murdered young woman and the Bride is born. She is beyond what either of them intended, igniting a combustible romance, the attention of the police and a wild and radical social movement.

Pic’s producers are Emma Tillinger Koskoff (Joker, The Irishman), Talia Kleinhendler (The Lost Daughter), Osnat Handelsman-Keren (The Lost Daughter), and Gyllenhaal. The film is executive produced by Carla Raij (Maestro, The Fablemans).

A singer, dancer, actor, entrepreneur, host and judge, as well as an Emmy-winning choreographer, Hough has previously been seen starring as Sandy in Fox’s Emmy winner Grease Live!, also headlining the 2011 remake of classic movie musical, Footloose. Other feature credits include Nicholas Sparks pic Safe Haven, the musical Burlesque starring Cher and Christina Aguilera, Dirty Grandpa, the Tom Cruise starrer Rock of Ages, and Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings, to name a few.

A two-time champion on Dancing with the Stars who has been with the show on and off, as a dancer, judge and choreographer, since 2007, Hough is poised to return as co-host when Season 33 launches in September. Newly signed to UTA in all areas, she’s also repped by Untitled Entertainment, Teall Management, and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
