Julia Roberts Shares Adorable Throwback Photo of Her Twins

Proud mama Julia Roberts recently wished her twins, daughter Hazel Patricia and son Phinnaeus Walter, a happy birthday on Instagram. The actress celebrated their 19th with a black and white throwback Polaroid photo from 2004 in which the kids looked adorable as infants sitting on Roberts’s lap.

Although Julia Roberts keeps her family life private, she penned similar posts for the twins’ 17th and 18th birthdays. For their 19th birthday, the “Pretty Woman” star wrote, “19. There are no words for the joy, the fun, the wild rumpus of life together.”

Fun fact: Julia Roberts’ twins are now the same age as the Oscar-winning actress from when she starred in her breakout hit, “Mystic Pizza.” Roberts also shares a 16-year-old son, Henry Daniel, with her husband of 21 years, cinematographer Daniel Moder.

Although Julia Roberts and her husband keep their kids out of the limelight, she does speak about motherhood at times. Last year, the actress opened up to Hoda Kotb on the Today Show, saying she sometimes fears messing it all up (via People).

It was a conscious decision of the couple to keep the kids away from the hubbub of Hollywood. In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Roberts explained, “The life that I’ve built with my husband. The life that we’ve built with our children…The point is to come home at the end of the day triumphantly to them.”

Even their kids do not enjoy the spotlight and prefer to stay away from it. Until a few years ago, her kids were unaware of Julia Roberts’ fame, who is loved for her acting skills. In 2018, she told Harper’s Bazaar, “I don’t think they will ever have a true sense of [my fame]…”

However, Roberts and her husband do share pictures of their brood occasionally, especially while holidaying together.
