Julia Roberts Kisses Husband Danny Moder in Loving Photo: 'My Forever Valentine'

Julia Roberts is celebrating Valentine's Day with a kiss.

On Wednesday, Roberts, 56, shared an undated photo of her sharing a kiss with her husband Danny Moder to Instagram in celebration of the annual romantic holiday. "My Forever Valentine ♥️ ⚡️ysb ⚡️," the Pretty Woman star wrote in a caption to the picture, which shows the longtime couple locking lips.

Roberts and Moder, who have been married for more than 21 years, typically keep their life together private. However, Roberts' post on Wednesday comes just two weeks after she publicly celebrated Moder's 55th birthday with a separate Instagram post shared on Jan. 31.

"Happy Birthday to this amazing man who lights up our world. ✨⚡️✨⚡️ #131💞," she wrote in a caption to that post, which included a snapshot of the couple lovingly gazing into each other's eyes.

Moder is a professional cinematographer who has worked on Hollywood films since 1996 and first met Roberts on the set of 2001's The Mexican. Moder is credited as a member of that movie's camera department on IMDb; Roberts starred in the film alongside Brad Pitt.

The couple married in a surprise wedding they held on July 4, 2002, after inviting guests to "celebrate Independence Day." The marriage marked both Roberts and Moder's second time tying the knot: Roberts was married to country singer Lyle Lovett in the mid-1990s, while Moder was married to makeup artist Vera Steimberg before his relationship with Roberts.

Since Roberts and Moder married, they have welcomed three children together: 19-year-old twins Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus Walter and son Henry Daniel, 16.

Back in December, Roberts called Moder "our anchor" during an appearance on the Today show when she was asked about life as a parent. “It all starts with Danny Moder," she said at the time, adding that Moder is "our person and in the most beautiful way, the captain of our ship" in her family. “For me, understanding how deeply felt life could be really started with him," she shared.

Moder himself rarely shares posts on his own Instagram account, but Roberts reliably shares photos of the two kissing for birthdays and anniversaries. She previously shared a snapshot of the pair locking lips for their 20th anniversary in July 2022, and told SiriusXM's Jess Cagle earlier that year that she feels kissing plays an important role in their relationship.

"20 years kissing Danny Moder," she said at the time, adding, "More kissing," when asked how they were celebrating the milestone.
