Juice WRLD’s New Album Legends Never Die Is 2020’s Biggest No. 1 Debut
Juice WRLD’s first posthumous album Legends Never Die arrived on July 10 and it’s the biggest No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 chart this year with 497,000 equivalent album units, Billboard reports. According to Juice WRLD’s representatives, Legends Never Die also marks the highest-charting posthumous LP to debut on the Billboard 200 since the Notorious B.I.G.’s Life After Death and Tupac’s R U Still Down (both from 1997).
Juice WRLD’s new album is also the fourth biggest streaming debut ever behind Drake’s Scorpion, Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V, and Post Malone’s beerbongs & bentleys.

Legends Never Die features songs with Halsey (“Life’s a Mess”), Trippie Redd (“Tell Me U Luv Me”), Marshmello (“Come & Go”), and more. In March 2019, Juice WRLD released Death Race for Love—his last studio album prior to his death. His debut LP Goodbye & Good Riddance came out in 2018.
