There's a new group on the Power Trip lineup.

English heavy metal band Judas Priest will replace English singer Ozzy Osbourne, who pulled out of the festival for health reasons Monday.

The official Judas Priest Instagram account posted the updated Power Trip poster Tuesday with the message "Judas Priest are primed and proud to fly the flag for Heavy Metal at this prestigious festival ... We are ready to raise double horns way up high together keeping the metal faith at this 'bostin' one of a kind Power Trip world event!"

In a statement posted to Power Trip's social media accounts the day prior, Osbourne said the decision to skip out on the October heavy metal festival was "painful."

"My original plan was to return to the stage in the summer of 2024, and when the offer to do this show came in, I optimistically moved forward," the 74-year-old rocker wrote. "Unfortunately, my body is telling me that I'm just not ready yet and I am much too proud to have the first show that I do in nearly five years be half-assed."

Osbourne's social media statement hinted that his replacements were "personal friends" of his and that fans "will not be disappointed."

Judas Priest and Osbourne were supposed to tour together in 2022, but in November 2021, those dates were postponed due to the pandemic.

Power Trip will be held Oct. 6-8 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, home of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Osbourne was scheduled to play Oct. 7, along with rock band AC/DC.
