JR Smith & Wife Jewel Still Follow Each Other On Social Media Amid Candice Patton Cheating Accusations
NBA star JR Smith is still following his estranged wife Jewel on social media, amid her accusing of cheating with actress Candice Patton.
The drama started this week with rumors swirling JR was dating “The Flash” actress for some time. The problem was JR has been married to Jewel Smith since August 2016. They share three children together.
Jewel posted a nine-minute video addressing the reports. She filmed herself praying for her husband and Candice. The NBA star fired back posting to Instagram denying he cheated. He wrote “IG Ain’t A Place For Relationships!! But God Told Me To Tell Y’all I’ve Been Separated For Months. He Doesn’t Understand Why His Child Failed To Mention That… #ThatsAll.”
The NBA star posted a photo in the hours after addressing the cheating claims. He was lounging around with two dogs named Ralph & Lauren.
JR and Jewel still follow each other on Instagram despite their public issues. He has not been sy about liking Candice’s post

In the video posted by Jewel she explains, “Clearly there is a lot going on. You been sending it to me, DMing it to me … it’s a battle, hurdle to jump over … out there in the public.”
She added, “Ask you father god to cover him with your love. I ask in the mighty name of Jesus that you go to him where he is right now and shake him up god.”
Jewel started to cry asking God to, “shake him up, stir him up, give him the strength to carry on to get through to another day.”
She asked God to fix whatever is broken in JR and build him “to be the man that he needs to be.” She added, “Surround us with your love, quiet all of this madness, in the midst of all this foolishness.”
Jewel then asked for Candice’s heart to be mended by God “for you to go out there and to seek a married man. I pray for JR and Candice.”
Lebron’s wife, Savannah James, showed Jewel support writing, “Amen💕 I love you Sis!! 🙏🏾”
Jewel has yet to respond to JR's claim they are separated.
