Political discussions have gotten people riled up for centuries now. Joy Reid got caught expressing her true, unfiltered thoughts about President Joe Biden while live on air.
The MSNBC host brought up the border crisis during the Monday (Jan. 29) edition of TheReidOut. She played a clip of Biden’s speech in South Carolina on Saturday (Jan. 27), where he was talking about the bipartisan Senate border deal that would yield him the ability to close the southern border “when it becomes overwhelmed.”
He stated, “If that bill were the law today, I’d shut down the border now and I’d fix it quickly… And Congress needs to get it done.” Both Democrats and Republicans are halting the bill’s progress, and former President Donald Trump has advised Republican Mike Johnson, the Speaker Of The House, to only let it pass if it is “perfect on the border.”

Joy Reid was seemingly unaware of the fact her mic was still on while the clip played and said, “Starting another f**king war” with a laugh while the clip came to an end. She apologized to viewers later in the show, reiterating their desire to keep their commentary clean.
“Before we go, I just want to apologize very quickly,” she said, “I was chatting during a clip that was playing, and you know, we try to keep this show very PG-13, so I just want to apologize to anyone who was listening to my ‘behind the scenes’ chatter. I deeply, deeply apologize for that.”
Joy Reid isn’t the only person who has been critical of Joe Biden’s presidency. Charlamagne Tha God admitted that he regrets endorsing the 2020 Democratic ticket after seeing what their tenure in The White House has been.
“It’s not so much that Charlamagne Tha God has beef with the president,” Brakkton Booker wrote in The Breakfast Club host’s interview with Politico. “It’s just that he thinks Joe Biden is a lousy messenger and that he lacks the basic political skills that — whatever one thinks about the guy — Donald Trump possesses.”
He believed that young voters would lean more toward former President Donald Trump than current President Joe Biden due to the idea that Trump did more. “Imagine you felt like you’ve never gotten anything from the government, ever,” he said. “And you don’t know how politics work, you just know you just got this check in the mail, with [Trump’s] name on it. You will feel like he did something.”
