Joy Behar’s Phone Ruins ‘The View’ Segment... Again
Joy Behar’s phone has been getting her into a lot of trouble on her show, The View, recently. In a segment in which the hosts talked about the subject of cheating in relationships, Behar’s phone loudly rang. Her ringtone, “Call Me Maybe,” by Carly Rae Jepsen, blared as the other hosts gasped. Behar silenced the phone and jokingly blamed a producer for turning it on.
This is not the first time her phone has interrupted taping of The View. On May 4, as Whoopi Goldberg was discussing news regarding James Comey, Behar’s phone rang. In both segments, her phone played the same ringtone.
In the end, Behar handled the mistake like a professional: by blaming someone else and changing the subject.
