Joshua Jackson & Lupita Nyong'o Are Done Hiding Their Romance With Major PDA in Mexico
It seems like just a minute ago that Lupita Nyong’o and Joshua Jackson were hiding their reported romance in the parking lot of the trendy Los Angeles grocery store, Erewhon. Now, they have no problem sharing their love and seemingly confirming their relationship on a recent trip to Mexico.
The duo spent the weekend in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where they were celebrating the Oscar winner’s 41st birthday, according to E! News. They didn’t care who knew that they were a couple as they packed on the PDA and held hands during a flirtatious romp on the beach in a video obtained by the outlet. Nyong’o flaunted her toned abs in a print bikini while Jackson wore a dark pair of swimming shorts. At one point, she had her arms wrapped around his neck and head and pulled herself into him — these two are in the throes of their honeymoon stage!

“They looked madly in love like they just couldn’t get enough of one another,” a source for the outlet revealed. Nyong’o and Jackson were all over the resort, using the spa at one point. The Dawson’s Creek star even had flowers and a balloon bouquet sent to their suite to honor Nyong’o’s big day. While they have no problem letting everyone know that they are one of Hollywood’s latest power couples, the timeline of their romance is under some scrutiny.
Nyong’o was coming off a relationship with Selema Masekela and hinted that infidelity on his part may have contributed to their split. Jackson’s estranged wife, Jodie Turner-Smith filed for divorce on Oct. 2 mere weeks before he and Nyong’o enjoyed a group outing to a Janelle Monae concert in LA. Turner-Smith listed their date of separation as Sept. 13 in her court documents, but that leaves only about six weeks between Jackson’s involvement with his marriage and Nyong’o. Turner-Smith lightly touched on the subject in an interview with the Sunday Times last month.
Noting that she’s choosing the “healthiest” path for her and their three-year-old daughter, Juno, Turner-Smith added, “There are so many different moments in our life where we look at ourselves and say, ‘Who am I and am I being true to that?’ If the answer is no, then you have to make a move because I believe that there are visible scars from staying in places that are not good for us. And they don’t just affect us, they affect everybody around us.”
