Josh and Anna Duggar Join His Family for Thanksgiving in the Ozarks

It was a Duggar family Thanksgiving for Josh Duggar, as he joined wife Anna, sisters Jessa and Jill, and the rest of his reality TV family for a Turkey Day getaway in Arkansas.
“This year for Thanksgiving, we spent a few days together with our family in a cabin in the beautiful Ozark Mountains,” Duggar matriarch Michelle wrote on Facebook. “We’ve laughed together, cooked together, sang together, told fun family stories, played with kids and bounced babies. It’s been a wonderful family time.”
In images she also shared, Josh, 28, can be seen sitting on the floor next to a couch packed with Duggar children and grandchildren who appear to be working on a jigsaw puzzle.
Anna, 28, can be seen a few feet away from Josh — wrapped in a brown blanket and playing with a toddler sitting on her lap.
Josh and Anna, who celebrated their eight-year wedding anniversary in September, have maintained a low profile since Josh returned to Arkansas in March of this year following two headline-making scandals and a stint in a faith-based rehab facility.
Earlier this month, Josh and Anna attended Jinger Duggar‘s Saturday wedding to Jeremy Vuolo — and then enjoyed a night out with Anna’s sister Priscilla and her husband David Waller.
“Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday,” Michelle wrote in her Facebook message on Thanksgiving. “It’s a beautiful day spent with family, food we love and most of all it is a poignant reminder of the many blessings our lives enjoy, for which we should be thankful.”
She added: “As I look around the room, I am so deeply touched by God’s love, His forgiveness, His kindness, His provision, His mercies and His tenderness toward each of us. God’s willingness to redeem us through Christ, in spite of all our failures and imperfections, is so humbling and fills my heart with tremendous gratitude.”
“Today, I am thankful for family, sweet friends and most of all God’s love,” she concluded. “I pray that your day is full of family, fun and games, delicious food, long enjoyed traditions and a heart and home filled with God’s love.”
