    Earlier this year Jordyn Woods was nominated in the category of Worst Best Friend Ever and won by a landslide. The scandal surrounding her and former BFF Kylie Jenner dominated the tabloids and social media for weeks, with equal amounts of followers and fans riding for Team Kylie while others showed sympathy for Team Jordyn. The true victim in that fiasco, though, was Jenner's sister Khloe Kardashian, who also took her furstrations with the station out on Woods with many social media posts.

    At this point everyone knows the scandal; Woods and Jenner were best friends, and the entire Kardashian and Jenner family considered Woods to be a close member of their inner circle. However, things went completely to the left when it was revealed that Woods may or may not have had an affair with Kardashian's baby's father NBA star Tristan Thompson. The scandal broke apart the two friends immedaielty, with Jenner allegedly kicking Woods out of the home they shared together.

    This is when Woods' longtime family friend Jada Pinkett Smith invited Woods to share her side of the story during her therapeutic gab fest Red Table Talk. This is where Pinkett-Smith breaks out her magical powers to make people spill all of their truest feelings and emotions, and Woods was not immune to her powers during her time at the table. With many tearful confessions Woods allowed her emotions to get the best of her as she explained her side of the story.

    Months after the interview Pinkett-Smith revealed to People;

    “Jordyn really felt like it was the only safe place that she could do that interview,” Jada tells PEOPLE in this week’s cover story, in which she, Willow and Adrienne discuss their family’s bond.“It actually wasn’t something I wanted to do because it was very close [to home], but as time transpired, Jordyn was just like, ‘I really need you in this platform’ and Will [Smith] felt like it was supremely important. So I was like, okay let’s do it.”

    Now at the close of the year, Woods is reflecting on the trials and tribulations of 2019 in a very simple Instagram post.

    Celebrity Insider reports that her fans were quick to offer their support, praising Woods for her composure during such a difficult time in her life.

    One of Jordyn’s fans told her: ‘What a year indeed…and you’ve handled it with such poise and grace. Here’s to an amazingly meaningful 2020!!! 🎉 🥂 🥳🍾’One Instagrammer also hopped in the comments to offer Jordyn kind thoughts about the year that passed: ‘Through all the adversity you endured this year @jordynwoods thank God for the mistakes, that turned to lessons, that were seeds planted for your growth and development. It all worked for your good. Continue to move forward, and only look back to thank God for how far you have come🙏🏽💫Blessings to you sis…’

    Woods appears to be moving forward and not letting the experiences of 2019 to hold her back. Perhaps she and Jenner can reconnect in 2020 as well.
