Jordyn Woods Addresses Rumors of Throwing Shade at Khloé Kardashian with Jacket Quote: 'Not That Deep'

"Not everything is shade," the influencer shared via her Instagram Story

Jordyn Woods is shutting down rumors after sharing a peek at a possible new drop from her clothing brand.

On Tuesday, the 26-year-old shared an Instagram post showing off a sample piece from her clothing brand, Woods By Jordyn. She sported a black and yellow letterman jacket that featured different embroidery, including the stitched-in quote, “I don’t need your situation.”

The quote is well-known from Woods' 2019 Red Table Talk tell-all interview following the rumors surrounding her involvement with Khloé Kardashian’s then-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. The memorable phrase was placed in yellow threading on the right side of the jacket.

After receiving several comments from fans regarding the message of the jacket, Woods denied that she dissed Kardashian, 39, on her Instagram Story.

“There’s NO shade here, just a quote we can all relate to at some point,” she wrote, adding, “Not everything is shade, and everything’s not that deep. It’s almost 2024 y’all. [My boyfriend, Karl-Anthony Towns] @karltowns designed the jacket, and I love it.”

In 2019, it was reported that Woods attended a party at Thompson's home. Woods then alleged that the NBA star kissed her, but she didn’t reciprocate. As a result of the scandal, Kylie Jenner, 26, began distancing herself from their friendship. 

A source told PEOPLE at the time, “Kylie has had a very hard time moving on from their friendship.”

During the interview with Jada Pinkett Smith, Woods said, “I would never try to hurt someone’s home, especially someone that I love. And someone that I’ve seen — has a beautiful daughter.” The influencer said of Thompson and Kardashian’s daughter, True, who was 10 months old at the time. “I would never try to steal someone’s man. I don’t need your situation. I really just hurt so many more people by not telling the truth.”

Years later, Woods began to make amends with the Kar-Jenner family, with Kardashian revealing she held no resentment towards her younger sister's friend.

On the Nov. 16 episode of The Kardashians, Thompson sat down with Jenner to apologize for his actions.

"Everyone got affected differently but I think you were affected the most by the situation with losing a sister basically," Thompson said. "You lost Jordyn, who was a big part of your life. I know how much she meant to your life and your guys' connection, you guys were like two peas in a pod."

Jenner accepted Thompson's apology and revealed where she stands with her former BFF. "Jordyn and I are cool. We still talk and catch up, we're good," she explained.

Back in July, Jenner and Woods were pictured out together for the first time since the fallout of the scandal.
