Jordan Poole Says Rumor He Spent $500K On Ice Spice Is “Definitely Not” True

Jordan Poole has finally addressed the rumor that he spent at least $500,000 on a date with rapper Ice Spice, a claim the NBA star denies.
On Tuesday (Nov. 7), TMZ obtained footage of Poole refuting the rumor directly during a meet-and-greet session with Washington Wizards fans. As the high-scoring guard was autographing jerseys and other items for fans, he was asked various questions from those in attendance.
One person inquired whether the longstanding rumor of him dropping six figures on the Bronx rapper was true or false. “Definitely not,” the 24-year-old answered in response, prompting a teammate sitting nearby to burst out in laughter at the question.
Talks of Poole and Ice Spice dating first surfaced via social media in March 2023, with claims that the then-Golden State Warrior spent half-a-million on the breakout star during a date garnering headlines in early May. While neither Poole nor Ice Spice would confirm or deny the rumor, rapper Cam’ron fueled the speculation regarding Poole’s lavish treatment of the 23-year-old, seemingly confirming the news as true.
“Jordan Poole, you spent $500,000 on an Ice Spice date, you’re a munch and you’re playing like a f**king munch,” Cam’ron said during a May episode of his It Is What It Is sports talk show. “This is not you from last year bro. Go back to Milwaukee and figure it the f**k out and get back in the playoffs ’cause you look crazy right now. ’Cause I had your back last year. You got ni**as out here saying, ‘Yeah what was all that Jordan Poole sh*t you popping.'”
In addition to Poole, Ice Spice has been linked to other stars, including comedian Pete Davidson, rappers Drake and Lil Tjay, and actor Caleb McLaughlin.
