“Sometimes getting everything you want, means losing everything you love…”

Greetings travelers, The Fifth Dimension continues journeying through Jordan Peele’s The Twilight Zone. The latest stop is Eddie’s Comedy Club in a tale of wishful thinking entitled, “The Comedian”. Rest assured, ladies and gentlemen, there are no jokes in this story.

Our subject in this episode is Samir Wassan (Kumail Nanjiani), a down-on-his-luck funnyman whose career begins to turn around, but not without stipulations. After all, as no good deed goes unpunished, no great joke can be told without its consequences.
